T & J White & Sons is a small, family run business established in 1953 by Tom and Joan White - now in their eighties. In the early days we were just Chimney Sweeps. However, we are now CORGI registered gas installers, HETAS approved for solid fuel and City and Guilds bricklayers. We carry out all chimney related works including:

- Stack re-pointing and re-building
- Cowl and chimney pot supply and fit

- Gas fire and fireplace installation/removal

- Installation related building work, from creating a builders opening to bricking up and installing lintels
In General we carry out a complete and comprehensive fire and chimney service.
We specialise in stove and fireplace installation including hole-in-the-wall type fires, and for the benefit of our customers have produced a full portfolio of fireplaces installed by us.
We take great pride in our work and therefore work to a very high standard, having all the latest equipment to either sweep your chimney or install your new fire or stove, ensuring that your home is left as tidy (sometimes tidier) than we found it. We are reliable, trustworthy and always polite. We strive to keep abreast of the market, always attending courses as they become available.
